Apple continues to move forward on HomePod with curved screen
A few months ago, the Apple prototype collector Kosutami shared some images of a HomePod prototype with a LCD display in the upper part. Now, Kosutami himself has published more photos of this model. In particular, details of this alleged HomePod, which should be identified as B720.
According to the collector, this model will have the same dimensions as well as design of the second generation HomePod, launched earlier this year. The only difference is the LCD: in fact, current models have a combination of LEDs that can display different colors. In this sense, Apple has worked on new versions of HomePod with a functional display to make it more attractive to users.
As for the screen, it appears to be flat but Kosutami highlighted that it should be covered by a convex glass. Moving on to the interface, it is still not clear what the final result will be, however it is known that the screen will show information on media played with apps such as Apple Music and Apple Podcasts.
Furthermore, it should also allow the display of important notifications, perhaps to allow users to respond to phone calls/messages.
