Chrome on Android gets a new bookmark button: have you seen it?
Google Chrome is receiving a new feature regarding the management of bookmarks. The news arrives for the Android app of the popular web browser (here are the best web browsers of the moment).
The Images in the gallery they show what it is. Google seems intent on releasing a new button of bookmarks in Chrome for Android. The new button arrives in parallel to what it is already presenta curious choice on Google’s part.
Until now, the button to add a page to bookmarks has always been placed in the small top bar of the Chrome overflow menu on Android, the one accessible via the three dots at the top right of the interface. However, we find the new connection along the listbetween the option to share and the option to search the web page.
The new option does everything the old one does. If the current page has already been added you will see the little Star which marks the option already selected.
The new bookmarks button is currently present in the version 122 Of Chrome Beta. The fact that it is only available in beta makes us think that Google is testing it, and that in its final version could replace the one that has already been present for some time. The compromise that must be made, in the event that Google chooses to implement it for everyone, consists in lengthening the overflow menu.
So, if you have Chrome Beta updated to version 122 you should see the new bookmarks option. Please let us know if you have used it and found it useful
