Kodi releases a “new” definitive version of Nexus: here are the bugs fixed
Kodi Foundation has just released a new update for its popular media streaming management platform (we remind you of the guide on how Kodi works). This is not the new development branch, i.e. the Omega version, but the proven one Nexus version.
In fact, in the last few hours a new update which corresponds to Kodi 20.4 Nexus. This is a “new” final version of Nexus.
This is because recently Kodi Foundation had already released a first definitive version of Nexus, the one corresponding to build 20.3. Apparently this version it turned out to be non-finalsince it included some bugs relevant that impacted the user experience. And then a new update has arrived that resolves the bugs present in the previous release. Let’s take a look at the changelog together:
Build
- Reduced the failure rate of binary add-on builds.
Input
- Update to controller add-ons.
Android
- Several fixes from the master to resolve distribution issues on Google Play.
- Introduced fixes to address input issues (remotes/controllers).
iOS/tvOS
- New solution to reduce black screen playback when interlaced content is played on iOS/tvOS. Users should no longer need to specifically disable VTB hardware playback for most interlaced content.
- Fixed memory issues with game controllers on iOS/tvOS.
tvOS
- Fixed a bug related to shared library framework metadata.
Windows
- Fix to improve layout channel handling when output is not supported by driver or hardware.
