Instagram has nothing to envy of WhatsApp: many new features for messaging
Instagram is getting closer and closer to the big names in instant messaging. In the last few hours Meta has announced some new features for messages sent on Instagram: the ability to edit messages after sending.
The news that comes for i Instagram Direct it is absolutely in line with what is already possible to do on other instant messaging platforms. There editing sent messages finally arrives on Instagram too.
As you can see from the screenshots in the gallery, editing messages sent on Instagram works in one similar way to what we are used to on other platforms, such as WhatsApp. It will be possible to edit any message on Instagram within 15 minutes from its sending.
After this time it will no longer be possible to modify the message sent. To edit a message on Instagram it will be enough to select the message, holding down until the context menu appears, and then choose the option Edit.
At this point it will be possible edit or add text to the previously sent message.
