After a few weeks of rumors and previews, some are finally here official confirmations on the next revolution that Microsoft intends to introduce in the console sector. Some Xbox exclusive titles are in fact about to arrive on PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.
Last week we talked about what could have been the Xbox games that Microsoft chose to bring to other platforms, confirming a epochal change of strategy which should lead Microsoft’s market to be increasingly focused on the content aspect.
In the last few hours, confirmations have arrived on which games they will arrive and when they debut on other platforms. Let’s go and see them together:
- Repentance from Obsidian Entertainment, a critically acclaimed and award-winning narrative game with a visual style inspired by the Renaissance, will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch on February 22.
- Hi-Fi RUSHthe acclaimed and award-winning rhythm-based action game where the world syncs to music from Tango Gameworks/Bethesda Softworks, is coming to PlayStation 5 on March 19available for pre-order on PlayStation 5 digital stores on February 22.
- Grounded from Obsidian Entertainment, a co-op survival adventure that has welcomed 20 million players, will arrive on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch on April 16. Cross-play mode will be supported on Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and PC.
- Sea of ThievesRare’s adventure game, is coming to PlayStation 5 on April 30thand will be available for the wishlist of PlayStation 5 players starting today, February 22. Cross play support will then arrive for Xbox, PlayStation and PC.
In short, you will have understood that some of the titles they are already available from today, February 22nd, while some versions of the others will arrive next March.
