The robot that makes cocktails based on customers’ emotions
There are many cocktails that we can have, depending on our current emotion, and in general, very well made by the different waiters in our favorite places.
And curiously, at CES 2024 in Las Vegas, many of the attendees were assisted by a robot when ordering cocktails, and with a big surprise.
This robot designed by Doosan Robotics was able to adapt drinks based on the client’s own emotions.
The robot, called Mixmaster Moodie, can create cocktails based on visual and auditory signals from the customer placing the order.
To do this, interested customers only had to stop by the company’s stand at CES, and let an artificial intelligence scan their facial expression, and with it the robot He created a drink based on his mood.
To do this, visitors to the stand were asked if they had one of the following emotions, including happiness, sadness, anger, annoyance, scared, surprised or neutral.
The robot was capable of diagnosing the person’s mood using a Logitech camera to identify their feelings.
After clicking on the “generate cocktail recipe” button, the robot will ask you to select one of the 24 pre-programmed cocktails designed by ChatGPT and adapted to your feelings.
Subsequently, the robot selects the ingredients to create the perfect alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink for the user, subsequently pouring it into a glass and where a second robot completes it with a detail and serves it to the customer.
Not only is this robot designed to create the best cocktails in the world, but also to minimize the risk of injury and improve workplace safety, according to its creators.
