Smartphones of the new era of HMD without Nokia: the first specs are not mind-blowing
In recent weeks we have learned about the new course of HMD Global, the company that for years has marketed the smartphones of the historic Nokia brand. The new course will correspond with the abandonment of Nokia brandfor a new adventure in the smartphone segment.
After learning the first details about new philosophy which intends to implement HMD in the smartphone segment, in the last few hours the first details have been leaked on what to expect from it first devices of the company in this new course. According to what has just leaked, they will be called HMD Legend And LegendPro.
These two devices were spotted in the database of Geekbenchthe well-known platform where they are tested in terms of performance.
As you can see from the images in the gallery, the two devices achieved very similar scores, giving us some details on the hardware specifications they integrate. In fact we see that both will have a octa-core processor with peak frequency of 1.6GHz, e Mali G57 GPU. There is no confirmation yet, but it could be the processor UniSoC T606.
This is a processor mid rangeor medium-low. We find it on devices from brands that market to a minimal extent officially in our area, such as infinix and tecno. In addition to this, from the leaked list on Geekbench we see what the devices will have respectively 4 and 8 GB of RAM. The operating system will be updated to Android 14.
In short, the first HMD models without Nokia they will certainly not be top of the range. We therefore expect devices on line with those that the company has always marketed through the Nokia brand. We still don’t know the details on their launch, or even if this is it scheduled for Europe. We will update you again as soon as we know more.
