Sticky Notes allows you to capture interactive notes, mostly in the form of images, and then reuse them throughout the Windows interface. They are currently integrated into EndNoteone of the best note-taking apps on the desktop platform.
The news we are talking about were announced by Microsoft on the blog dedicated to Insider version of the popular operating system, and refer to as Sticky Notes they will become more powerful on Windows 11.
The new version of the Sticky Notes app allows you to acquire instantly one screenshot of the current interface, and then save it as a note. At the note they come Attach useful information such as the app that was open at the time of acquisition and the date indications. With the active synchronizationnotes captured in this way can also be sent to devices connected to the same account.
We see the most interesting part when Sticky Notes starts taking a screenshot from a website.
In addition to the saved image, it will be possible attach the URL to the screenshot of the web page to which it refers. Clicking on the note will then be possible reopen quickly the web page from which the screenshot was taken. In short, a great way to quickly save web pages and attach them to specific notes.
We reiterate that, at least for now, Sticky Notes features are integrated into the EndNote app. We may see Sticky Notes in the future directly in the Start menu of Windows. The new features we have just described are available only to those who have joined Windows Insider. We expect them to arrive in the future also for those who have the stable version.
