Amazon Luna arrives in Italy with streaming games included for Prime users

Amazon Moon is also available in Italy starting today: the service streaming video games of the e-commerce giant is now also available in our country, with some contents included free of charge for Amazon Prime subscribers.

A few days after Black Friday and its discounts, Amazon Luna debuts in Italy with all the functions and games already released in the other markets where the service is available (USA, UK, Germany and Canada): it allows you to play a great variety of titles from any device connected to the internetincluding streaming media players such as Fire TV Stick, smartphones and tablets (iOS and Android), PC and Mac, ChromeBook, and on select smart TVs from Samsung and LG.

Free content and subscriptions

Amazon Luna offers different subscription plans, but includes content for Amazon Prime subscribers.

Notably, all Prime users can always play Fortnite, Trackmania it’s a rotating selection of gameswhich will change periodically and will be available free of charge for Amazon Prime subscribers.

Furthermore, it is possible connect your Ubisoft account to redeem the company’s games that you already own, or to purchase new ones.

As far as subscriptions are concerned, however, there are three, which we explain below:

  • Moon+: The leading subscription, with the largest library of games. Includes titles from all genres, including Team Sonic Racing, Spongebob: Battle for Bikini Bottom And Batman: Arkham Knight. Additionally, Luna+ subscribers have access to the same benefits as Amazon Prime customers, including Fortniteand the opportunity to access Ubisoft PC games. Luna+ costs €9.99 per monthwith a 7-day free trial
  • Ubisoft+: Allows access to Ubisoft games, including a selection of historical titles such as the sagas of Assassin’s Creed, Rainbow Six And Far Cry, both the latest games just released and upcoming, like Assassin’s Creed Mirage and the imminent Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. Subscribing to Ubisoft+ costs money €17.99 per month
  • JackboxGames: available only on Luna, this subscription is dedicated to party games developed by Jackbox Games such as Quiplash, Trivia Murder Party And Drawful. It costs €4.99 per month

Moon Controller

In conjunction with the service, Amazon also launches the Moon Controller: This is a controller optimized for streaming games with Luna.

It is not mandatory (it is also possible to play Luna with a keyboard and mouse, or with third-party controllers), but the Luna controller connects directly to the servers of the company via Wi-Fi, minimizing latency.

Furthermore, thanks to Cloud Direct technology, the Amazon controller allows you to seamlessly switch from one screen to another, for example from smartphone to Fire TV, without the need for configuration or pairing.

The Luna controller is available on Amazon Italy and, until November 27th, it can be purchased at the promotional cost of €39.99 instead of €69.99.
