iPhone 16 and the all-new button: we know what it will be used for

A couple of months have now passed since apple unveiled its new jewels, namely the models of the iPhone 15 family. After having explored them thoroughly, we are already ready to hear about iPhone 16.

It’s not the first time we’ve talked about the iPhone 16, given that a few days ago we saw the first renderings leaked that could correspond to the final design of the iPhone 16. And among the leaked renderings, we spotted the presence of a new and original button.

Let’s talk about Capture button, something that we have never seen so far on the current models of the Cupertino company. In the last few hours, new confirmations have arrived on the presence of this button. Mark Gurman of Bloomberg reported that the Capture button it will be present on all models of iPhone 16, and shared details about his too function.

The new Capture button will in fact be used to record videos quickly. This will be a tactile button that will present feedback when pressed.

By pressing the button you will be able to access the camera and immediately start video recording.

This new button should be located at the bottom right of the side profile of the iPhone 16. It is not excluded that it will be possible to apply different pressure levels to activate various features always connected to the Camera app. In short, the Capture button will be a Swiss army knife for quickly using the Camera app on the new iPhone 16.

This choice by Apple definitely it is not new in the smartphone sector, given that other manufacturers have already chosen to dedicate a dedicated button to the camera on their smartphones. However, seeing a button like this on the next iPhone 16 will certainly be significant of further attention to the photographic experience from Apple.
