Niagara Launcher will solve a critical issue of icon packs with artificial intelligence

One of the best third-party launchers for Android is definitely Niagara Launcher. In particular, the software is welcoming Anyconan icon pack that will apply the Material You theme to all apps. Proceeding in order, Google with Android 12 launched this new design, accompanied by an option that allows all app icons on the home screen to adopt the colors generated by the background. However, all Android users, sooner or later, have observed the presence of icons to which the chosen theme or icon pack has not been applied. In this regard, Niagara, thanks to Anycon, aims to resolve a fairly widespread critical issue, namely icons not supported by icon packs.

In particular, the Anycon icon packs will consist of three icon packs with three different styles in order to adapt to many wallpapers and homescreens. The styles are known as Material, Sticker and Watercolor. All three icon packs support the dynamic colors of Material You and, furthermore, it will be possible to choose the shades via the application settings (as well as being able to customize the thickness of the icons).

Therefore, thanks to Anycon, Niagara Launcher aims to solve the problem of icons not supported by icon packs.

Specifically, to achieve this goal, Anycon of Niagara will be able to rely on an algorithm (already used by the Icon Assistant) which will generate customized icons for each app on the smartphone. In practice, the system itself will provide an icon to each app, depending on the category it belongs to: subsequently, a generic icon will be applied so as to maintain the aesthetic uniformity of the main screen.

In the end, Niagara made it clear that “Certainly Anycons isn’t flawless yet, and there may still be inaccuracies in categorization. However, just like Icon Assistant, Anycons’ categorization is continually learning and improving every day.”
