Samsung challenges Gemini: here are the new features of Galaxy S24 and One UI 6.1

Recently, artificial intelligence has entered the lives of millions of people, thanks to the various services launched online and on the main mobile devices. In parallel, we have seen some of the big technology manufacturers rely on it, and we certainly find it among them Google.

In fact, the Mountain View company has launched its Pixel 8, top-of-the-range devices that have the distinction of being particularly optimized for artificial intelligence. At launch there were only a few glimpses, but last week we saw BigG launch Gemini, a tool as impressive as it is powerful.

Gemini has potential ranging from image and video recognition to the ability to summarize audio recordings in total autonomy. In short, it is a great added value for the smartphone context. And speaking of added values, Samsung absolutely does not intend to stand idly by.

Let’s talk about Samsung because the South Korean giant will be the next to launch top-of-the-range devices.

Let’s talk about Galaxy S24 which will arrive between the end of January and the beginning of February 2024. In the last few hours, important leaks have been leaked which focus precisely on how much artificial intelligence the Galaxy S24 will have thanks to the One UI 6.1.

As you can see from the screenshots below, shared by the leaker Benit Bruhner Prothe new version of Samsung’s One UI will include a AI wallpaper generator. This generator will be able to create backgrounds from nothing, receiving as input information on the subject and the context to be represented in the background.

A will also arrive particularly intelligent editor for photos, which will allow you to add and move objects to shots taken with the Galaxy S24. Then, Samsung Notes will be able to to summarise the notes taken by users, providing bulleted lists that are easy to read and understand. This will also apply to handwritten notes. Important news also for voice calls, given that with One UI 6.1 it will be possible translate them in real time.

These innovations join those already leaked, namely the optimization of autonomy through AI, and the others not yet well clarified which will concern the voice assistant. This should all be supported by Samsung Gaussthe artificial intelligence model that Samsung would have developed.
