TCL 40 NXTPAPER in Italy: features and price of smartphones with “paper effect” displays

TCL has formalized the launch of the new smartphones in Italy TCL 40 NXTPAPER 4G and 5G and the tablet TCL NXTPAPER 11 with in-house developed display technology. Notably, these devices are equipped with proprietary technology NXTPAPER, TÜV Rheinland certified for low blue light emission. TCL NXTPAPER multilayer displays are anti-reflective and anti-fingerprint, a characteristic obtained thanks to a matte effect texture similar to that of paper.

The TCL 40NXTPAPER smartphone is equipped with a 6.78-inch NXTPAPER FHD+ display, dual speakers and DTS enhanced 3D boom audio. It also has a 32MP selfie camera and a rear photographic compartment with triple camera 50MP, 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens and 2MP macro sensor. TCL 40NXTPAPER is equipped with 256GB of memory and 8GB of RAM with an additional expansion of 8GB of virtual RAM. The processor, however, is a MediaTek Helio G88.TCL 40 NXTPAPER available at the recommended retail price of 199.90 euros.

The TCL 40NXTPAPER 5G smartphone is equipped with a 6.6-inch NXTPAPER HD+ display, which guarantees a paper-like viewing experience, also thanks to the NXTPAPER user interface. The internal memory is 256GB of storage, alongside 6GB of RAM which can be further expanded with an additional expansion of 6GB of virtual RAM.

The device is equipped with a rear photographic compartment consisting of a 50MP main camera, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro lens (the front camera has a resolution of 8 MP). They are not missing AI functions as well as the AI Color Video mode, a feature that makes video backgrounds black and white while keeping the subject in vivid colors. The chosen processor is MediaTek Dimensity 6020. TCL 40 NXTPAPER 5G available at the recommended retail price of 239.90 euros.

Thanks to NXTPAPER 2.0, the TCL NXTPAPER 11 tablet offers a comfortable viewing experience and quality images thanks to its 11-inch 2K display, further improved by AI Boost. The screen is made up of several layers to limit blue light.

Furthermore, the certified anti-reflective glass TÜV Rheinland reduces reflected light. The chosen processor is MediaTek Helio P60T.

TCL NXTPAPER 11 is equipped with 8MP wide-angle front camera as well as with four speakers and two microphones. It is, therefore, an optimal device for those who prefer printed books and notebooks to e-readers. Finally, this device is supported by a powerful 8000mAh battery, which ensures long-lasting usage.
