More than a month has now passed since the official presentation of the Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, but the series 8 is not finished yet. In fact, the appeal is still missing Pixel 8awhich will supposedly launch around mid-2024, but we know Google is working on it.
About a month ago we saw some renderings that showed the design of the future smartphone, which was also talked about dimensions and of frames not too pronounced. Instead, according to what was reported by the leakers No Name And xleaks7 in a post on LinkedIn, it seems that the reality is very different.
As you can see in the gallery, some shots were taken of what it should be an aluminum model of the Pixel 8aportraying all its sides.
What immediately catches the eye is a design much more similar to that of his older brothers and which differs from the more rectangular one of its predecessor.
But this it doesn’t surprise usbecause it confirms what emerged from past renderings, even if we are talking about one variation in size of the device, which go from 152.1 x 72.6 x 8.9 mm to 153.44 x 72.74 x 8.94 mm.
What mainly catches your attention is the photo of the front side, where you can see some rather pronounced frameswhich they would appear to also be thicker than those of the Pixel 7a and so much so that it even touches the front camera.
For this reason it seems like one to us strange solution, but otherwise the model seems to be accurate with the details on the size of the photographic sensors and the position of the volume and unlock keys. Therefore, it is difficult to evaluate the degree of reliability of this information, but we certainly cannot expect bezels like on the Pixel 8.
