Interesting news from Vivo. The smartphone manufacturer, in fact, could return to business Italy after a period of absence. Proceeding in order, last September, the Voking Technology & Communication Srl – i.e. the distributor who brought Vivo devices to our market – declared that operations were no longer sustainable and that without investments it would be difficult to aspire to better results.

In recent hours, however, somewhat surprisingly, it would appear that a new distributor has emerged which would have the intention of trying again to bring Vivo smartphones to the Italian market. In particular, it seems that there are ongoing talks with the aim of starting a streamlined structure and bringing the Chinese manufacturer’s devices back to our country.

While waiting for further news on this matter, we reiterate that Vivo’s “Italian” adventure ended in September. This decision was made because the costs were excessive while sales probably struggled to take off as hoped. In this sense, it can be hypothesized that the distributor Voking Technology & Communication Srl hoped to replicate the success that this brand has enjoyed in other markets.

In any case, it is important to highlight that the smartphone market is particularly complex and it is not always easy to capture users’ interest. However, with a long-term plan and perhaps with smartphones with an excellent quality/price ratio, nothing is impossible.
