Let’s go back to talking about Iliad and the service Timesafter in recent weeks we have seen how the operator had started testing the service for some business customers.
It seems that Iliad’s VoLTE is finally arriving just for everyone. In fact, in the last few hours several reports have emerged from Iliad customers with a classic offeri.e. non-business, who spotted the VoLTE active on their device.

As you can see from the Images in the gallery, coming from some members of our Facebook group, some of the Iliad consumer SIM are receiving VoLTE enablement. What seemed like a test limited to Iliad’s business customers only is expanding, and is probably destined to involve all Iliad customers.
The VoLTE service is now widespread in the vast majority of operators in Italy, but curiously Iliad does not yet offer it on a large scale. Indeed, until a few weeks ago no Iliad customer could access it.
We remind you that the VoLTE service allows you to carry out audio calls on the 4G/LTE network. And, at the same time, it guarantees a better quality of audio and allows you to browse simultaneously in 4G/4G+ on the internet or via app during a call.
Its diffusion among Iliad customers it is not yet uniform, especially among those who have a consumer SIM, given that some have not yet received it. Currently, therefore, we could still talk about testing phase. To verify that it is enabled, simply check if in the status bar on your smartphone you will see the relevant VoLTE icon.
Obviously to use it you will also need to have one compatible smartphone, you can find more details, and also all compatible models, on the operator’s official website. Let us know if it has arrived in your area.
