Your next iPhone’s screen could look worse, but for good reason

We must be very careful when we are entering passwords on our mobile device to avoid curious glances.

And Apple is aware of this problem that many thieves can end up accessing the passwords of our device, and for this they have patented two new technologies that could be seen in the future iPhone.

It should be noted that currently the devices Manzana They have a 170° field of vision, allowing anyone nearby to see what we are typing on the screen, thus being able to decipher our access credentials.

Those from Cupertino have registered a patent called “privacy for curved screens”, which presents a special cover on the top of the screen that limits the emission of access light in a specific direction.

While the primary user can enjoy the screen, the cover prevents thieves from spying from the sides.

The other patent is called “display with adjustable viewing angles”, designed for devices with a flat screen, and where users can adjust the viewing angle of the iPhone whenever they want.

Basically it would be like a filter that can be activated or deactivated when handling confidential information. Apple commented on the patent that the user could control the polarization of the screen through a series of adjustable grids. This would prevent curious people from looking at private information.

Also notable is the use of a liquid crystal element to change the visibility of specific colors.
