Honor Magic 6 Ultimate Edition: what does the camera design hide?

The first months of 2024 turned out to be extremely interesting for all fans of the Honor brand, starting with the presentation of the folding Magic V2 up to the latest devices in the line Magic 6: the Honor Magic 6 Lite and the Honor Magic 6 Pro. But as they say ”there’s no two without three”, given that soon a new smartphone will become part of the family: let’s talk about Honor Magic 6 Ultimate Edition.

In fact, yesterday the Chinese company shared a message on Weibo teaser which reveals the launch date of the device (the March 18) and lets us understand what will be the design of the rear camera.

As you can see from the image, the new module (probably curved glass) occupies most of the rear surface and appears in a square shape with glides rounded corners. Two corners specifically have metal finishes that they reconnect the camera block with the rest of the smartphone.

Furthermore, from what we can glimpse, the back appears to be in eco-leather.

The peculiarity that catches the attention is that the teaser it doesn’t show the cameras inside the module. This choice could simply depend on not wanting it reveal the positioningor it might be hiding something surprise. oneplus had already thought about it in the past, with a conceptto make cameras invisible using a electrochromic glass.

Currently there is no information available on the technical data sheet but it is now available a few days that separate us from the official presentation March 18. To date, however, it remains unlikely that the device will be launched globally.
