Sony Xperia 10 V celebrates Android 14: rollout started globally
For several weeks we have seen Google’s Pixels update with the stable version of Android 14. Recently the Galaxy S23 also joined, and just a few hours ago some of the OPPO and OnePlus models.
Now the time has come to celebrate for the Sony Xperia 10 V too. The official Sony Xperia account on X has indeed announced that the Android 14 rollout for the device has just started.
The update to Android 14 should include a good number of new features, especially those introduced at stock system level. However Sony has not released a complete changelogbut highlighted the main aspects that have been renewed compared to the previous generation of Android.
Sony has in fact reported that after the new update the Xperia 10 V will be able to integrate more deeply with the network Find my device. Furthermore, a better user experience comes with Nearby Share, which in our area is called Nearby sharing.
There are some new features that also concern graphic customization: in fact, options regarding the pressure of the tools while carrying out any activity have been added.
Sony has not specified whether there is a geographical criterion for distribution in specific regions. So let’s assume that the update to Android 14 arrives via OTA in the short term, also for us Europeans.
