In the IT sector, and in particular PCs and notebooks, Acer it has played an important role for several years thanks to its constant presence on the market. And precisely in this context the company has announced some important news.
Acer has in fact just announced some important news that will concern the next series of notebooks that it will present on the market. We’re talking about the Aspire Vero seriesand in particular the new Aspire Vero 16 which will arrive on the market with an interesting and relevant peculiarity.
Acer Aspire Vero 16 will in fact be the device that will minimize the environmental impact in terms of carbon emissions. In fact, the Aspire Vero series devices have been designed in this way eco friendly with the aim of minimizing carbon dioxide emissions throughout their life cycle.
Specifically, Aspire Vero 16 presents its green declination in many aspects:
- Color, material and finish: with the chassis made with a mixture of over 60% recycled plastic (double compared to the 30% of the first generation) while its structure does not contain volatile organic compounds, paints or additives. The touchpad was made with plastic that comes from the oceans.
- It has the latest ones Intel Core Ultra processors, more power efficient than previous generations. Additionally, Intel AI Boost, the new integrated neural processing unit (NPU), offers new AI-powered features with high levels of power efficiency.
- The packaging it is made entirely with 100% recycled FSC certified paper.
- Acer has partnered with logistics providers to reduce emissions from standard shipping containers through the use of biofuel on several routes.
- The software of battery management AcerSense allows you to maximize energy efficiency with four operating modes: Eco+, Eco, Balanced and Performance.
- The process of repair and replacement of components it has been made much simpler than previous generations.
Acer’s commitment it goes even further this single series of products, given that the company has joined the RE100 initiative and is committed to
reach 100% renewable electricity by 2035. All with the aim of achieving the carbon neutrality.
This new one virtuous and promising product of Acer will be officially presented next time CES Las Vegaswhich will take place in January 2024.
