Any monitor becomes a Chromebook: the novelty from Google and Lenovo

For several years now we have known the potential of Chrome OS, the operating system of Google dedicated to devices that are not particularly equipped from a hardware point of view.

Chrome OS, and Chromebooks as a result, are excellent alternatives for those looking for a device with which to access online platforms for teaching remotely, but also for those who have to work on the web or with programs included in the Google suite for managing documents, spreadsheets and presentations.

It all comes to a definitely lower price of the classic devices that have Windows or even macOS. So we are very interested in the latest news they have presented Google and Lenovo. We are talking about Chromebox Microa device that has the size of a Pixel and that allows you to make any monitor a Chromebook.

Basically it is a mini PC, which in a limited space integrates all the hardware specifications that we find on Chromebooks on the market.

The new product just launched by Google and Lenovo should hit the market at a price of $219 (around 200 euros). The launch is scheduled for early 2024but we don’t know if Italy will also be among the marketing markets.
