Italian consumers, from the next Januarywill undergo a telephone remodulation from overall 770 million euros per year. In fact, the tariffs for landline, mobile and internet services, in 2024will suffer significant price increases, as highlighted by Assoutients. Going into the details of the news, it was discovered that starting from January 1st and throughout 2024, consumers will face continuous tariff increases. In particular:
- Tim: Starting from 1 January 2024, the monthly cost for having a copy of the invoice in paper form, where contractually required for landline Internet customers, will go from €3.90 to €4.95, VAT included. Starting from the first charge after November 26, 2023, the monthly cost of some offers in the TIMVISION range will increase by an amount between €0.99 and €4.99 (VAT included), depending on the specific offer subscribed to by the customer.
- Vodafone: for some offers from renewal after 13/01/2024 the cost of the offer increases by 1.99 euros per month. For business customers there would also be “scheduled increases” of up to 10% 12 or 24 months after signing the new contract.
- Fastweb: starting from 01 January 2024 for some landline customers the monthly cost of the offer will increase by an amount between 0.01 euros/month and 4.49 euros/month.
- WindThree: starting from 1 January 2024 the cost of the service of some WINDTRE landline offers will be increased by 2 euros per month (+VAT for customers with a VAT number). Starting from 1 March 2024, the cost of the service of some WINDTRE landline offers will be increased by 2 euros per month.
- PosteMobile: for the “Web Home” offer starting from 1 January 2024 it will be necessary to adjust the monthly fee to a cost of 22.90 euros from the current 19.90 euros, with a consequent increase of 3 euros per month.
To all this will be added the inflation-related adjustments. For example, for TIM the monthly fee for some landline offers will be increased starting from 1 April 2024 as a percentage equal to the inflation index (IPCA) recorded by Istat, increased by a coefficient of 3.5%.
WindTre, on the other hand, has provided for the right to increase tariffs within the first quarter of the year by a percentage amount equal to the change in the Foi index recorded by Istat, establishing a minimum price increase of +5%.
