This initiative is the work of Adam Mosam and producer Scott Zabielski, experts in technology and media. Channel 1 presents itself as a technological startup that seeks global distribution, with videos that will be translated into several languages.
Its demo video has already caused quite a stir, showing avatars that actually look like real human presenters. As expected, all this madness has generated great concern among journalists, who fear for the future of the profession and the possibility that fake news will not stop spreading.
Despite the presence of artificial intelligence on the screen, human intervention seems to remain essential in production. They explain that behind it there are journalists who write texts and editors who supervise the quality of the content. Of course, the staff is only 11 people.
