Cecotec has invented the bicycle: half bike and half scooter, and the truth is that it doesn’t look bad
Whether we like it or not, it is increasingly normal to see scooters on the street. In other European cities, perhaps better adapted or with a different culture, it is common to go to work by bike, but here in Spain it seems that the electric scooter has gained more traction.
However, it is a new market that has just begun, driven from Asia, and there is still a lot of innovation to be squeezed out. An example of this is this new scooter from Cecotec that uses larger wheels and a broader structure, a mix between a scooter and a bicycle.
It has just been presented, but it is already slightly reduced on the official website of the manufacturer Cecotec for only 550 euros.

We found several advantages when adopting this design such as a 1000W power motor (500w nominal power) that can climb slopes of up to 15%, which is very complicated for even the best conventional electric scooters.
Thanks to its 26-inch front wheel and 20-inch rear wheel, Cecotec ensures that we do not notice the bumps as much and we will feel them less than on a bicycle because the impact goes to our foot and not to our butt.
It is also much more comfortable than a traditional scooter due to its huge wooden base that will allow you to have both feet parallel instead of going crooked and with half a foot out.
Autonomy is another of the strong points of this hybrid. Thanks to its 48 V and 12,500 mAh battery, the Cecotec Urban bike offers you a generous autonomy of up to 50 kilometers, meaning you can take long trips without worrying about constantly recharging. And with a maximum speed of 25 km/h, it is perfect for fast and efficient urban trips.
