The new Year it doesn’t start off in the best way for DAZN customers (we remind you of our guide on how to watch DAZN on TV), but also for those who were about to activate a new DAZN offer.
The now popular pay TV service provider in Italy, which has risen to prominence since acquiring the rights to broadcast Serie A football matches and beyond, has just announced a new blow for its customers. It’s about increases spread to all types of season tickets, which arrive with the current football season.
DAZN has in fact updated its subscription rates, with increases that affect both those who will activate a new offer but also those who they are already subscribers. The increases affect both annual and monthly subscriptions. So let’s go and see what are the new rates:
- DAZN Start:
- Annual payment deferred over 12 months goes from 9.99 euros to 11.99 euros.
- Monthly payment goes from 13.99 euros to 14.99 euros.
- Annual payment in a single solution goes from 89.99 euros to 99 euros.
- DAZN Standard:
- Annual payment deferred over 12 months goes from 30.99 euros to 34.99 euros.
- Monthly payment remains at 40.99 euros.
- Annual payment in a single solution goes from 299 euros to 359 euros.
- DAZN Plus:
- Annual payment deferred over 12 months goes from 45.99 euros to 49.99 EUR.
- Monthly payment goes from 55.99 euros to 59.99 euros.
- Annual payment in a single solution goes from 449 euros to 539 euros.
In short, it’s about substantial increases by DAZN if we see them from a percentage perspective.
In fact, there is talk of increases that yes stand at 25% if we talk about DAZN Plus with an annual subscription.
And all the increases described will concern all DAZN subscribers. The communication of the increases indicates that these will come into force from the first useful renewal after 2 January 2024. This is the text of the communication that will arrive:
In order to guarantee better functionality of the Service, upon the annual expiry of the Annual Plans with payment in 12 monthly installments DAZN Standard and Plus, activated before 2 January 2024, and starting from 2 January 2024, the relevant price will adjust to the list price current.
In particular, the price of the DAZN STANDARD Annual Plan will be 34.99 euros per month and the DAZN PLUS Annual Plan will be 49.99 euros and will remain unchanged for the following 12 months.
Customers affected by the change will receive a personal communication via email with all the information details and in compliance with the required legal notice.
