First leaks on Xiaomi 14 Ultra: guess what the most important update will be

A few weeks after the launch (in China) of the new ones Xiaomi 14 And Xiaomi 14 Prothe first previews that are thought to concern the next, highly anticipated one have appeared online Xiaomi 14 Ultrawhich will obviously be focused as usual on the photographic sector.

According to the well-known leaker Digital Chat Stationan upcoming device from the Chinese brand will present top features regarding the main camera, which will resume the major novelty introduced right in Xiaomi 14 Pro, the variable opening (which you see shown in the image above). Given the specifications, everyone obviously thought about Xiaomi 14 Ultra.

DCS in fact, by publishing previews regarding the photographic sector of the unnamed device, confirms the same four-sensor configuration from 50 megapixels Of Xiaomi 13 Ultra (which we remember arrived in Italy).

But at the same time the leaker also announces the arrival of the new one variable openinga good step forward compared to the double opening of the current Ultra (which didn’t impress DXoMark reviewers).

The major update expected on the main camera is indeed a variable aperture between f/1.6 and f/4.0similar to the f/1.42 to f/4.0 aperture of the Xiaomi 14 Pro and a significant upgrade over the dual-opening options of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra of f/1.9 or f/4.0.

Additionally, Digital Chat Station also mentions in a separate post that the phone will allow you to manually zoom between 0.5x, 1x, 3.2x And 5x.

Other differences compared to Xiaomi 13 Ultra they will be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, the new HyperOS UX from Xiaomi (as for the other Xiaomi 14) and the glass back, or at least this is what we saw in the first prototypes. At the moment, however, it cannot be ruled out that an online version will not also be presented fake leather as with its predecessor.
