The hotel is possibly the most important piece of our trip, since we have to find one that is within our budget, that is as close as possible to the center and that we obviously like.
Unfortunately, the photos of hotels that we see on sites like the search engine or on Google Mapstend to differ quite a bit when we see it in reality and, for this, Google is working on a function that will allow users leave emoji reactions, not only to hotel photos, but also to user reviews.
In this way, when we search for a hotel in the Google search engine or in Google Maps, and we go to the photo section, we will see reactions left by former guests so that we really know the best and most popular areas.
The same will happen with user reviews, to which we can leave a series of reactions. This will also allow us to know which are the most reliable and which ones we should read.
This is also positive for hotel owners, because they will be able to know what type of photographs draw the public’s attention the most to continue betting on them.
On the other hand, they will also be able to know those areas of their hotel that are less attractive to visitors, so that they can obviously remodel them and thus attract many more clients.
It is simply one of those many experiments that Google is doing, and we will see if it definitely remains something fixed, because at the moment it is only available to a very small set of users.
