Ikea presents three new products for the smart home for less than 10 euros

Ikea now occupies a prominent place in the home automation segment, with its devices for smart home which are periodically renewed. Precisely in this context, the Swedish company has just launched some interesting news.

Ikea has in fact officially presented three new devices for the smart home. These are interesting products especially for the aggressive price, given that they arrive all for less than 10 euros. Too bad, however, that they are compatible with the standard Zigbee, and not with the Matter one. Let’s go see them together.

Ikea parasol

This is a sensor for doors and windows which can be mounted to trigger an automation when an opening/closing event is detected. It can also be paired directly with one lamp Ikea without having to purchase and configure an Ikea Home smart hub.

The introductory price is 9.99 euros for the market Europeancertainly one of its greatest strengths.

Ikea Vallhorn

This is a motion sensor which can be used both indoors and outdoors, as it offers the IP44 certificationwhich is resistant to rain, to activate lights or other automations when movement is detected.

It is powered by three AAA batteries and can be paired to control directly up to 10 Ikea smart bulbs.

Also in this case the price is very inviting: we are only talking about 7.99 euros for the market European.

Ikea Badring

This however is a sensor for detecting water leaks. The device includes a siren integrated (60 dBA at 1 m) which activates when the leak is detected. The device is also compatible with sending mobile notifications via the Ikea Home smart app, but only for those who own an Ikea Dirigera hub.

The new Badring sensor arrives in Europe at the price of 9.99 euros.
