Instax fans, rejoice! Fujifilm invests to give you more films

Good news for all lovers of instant cameras of the series Fujifilm Instax. Starting next year, films dedicated to these particular cameras will be easier to find and buy, thanks to new investments that Fujifilm has decided to field.

One of the atavistic problems of Instax users has always been availability of films, especially those in Mini format. The great popularity of models such as the Instax Mini 12 cameras or the Instax Mini Link series printers has produced a great interest in this type of consumables, resulting in a shortage of parts on the market and quite high costs.

Consider that the average price on Amazon Italy the pack of 20 Instax Mini films is around €18, i.e 90 cents per film. And this is the most convenient package of all, the others have even higher average costs per film.

Fujifilm has already established a investment for 4.5 billion Japanese Yen, equal to approximately 28 million euros.

A very large sum, which will be used to renovate the already active factories and also create new production plants.

The works should starting in the fall of 2024 and a 20% increase of production capacity compared to today.

Hopefully all this will soon produce visible results regarding the availability and cost of Instax films, much loved especially by younger users.
