LEGO Fortnite is practically official: will there also be the legendary Battle Royale Bus?

If you type Fortnite on the official Italian LEGO Store, the site will not show you the Fortnite themed LEGO sets, but you will still be redirected to this special page which leaves little room for doubt. The LEGO Fortnite line is reality, and will soon be shown to the general public!

The page shows the famous pinata llama who in some ways we can identify as the Fortnite mascot. Obviously the llama is in the LEGO version, made up of a few pieces but enough to give it a look faithful to the original.

The most logical question is: there will be LEGO Fortnite sets, or will the collaboration cover other aspects? To answer this question we need to take a step back. LEGO and Epic Games announced a partnership in April 2022a partnership that is about to materialize into something yet to be announced.

Since this is a two-way collaboration, we expect to see a dedicated LEGO mode within Fortniteperhaps linked to Fortnite’s Creative mode more than to the classic Battle Royale.

And on the other hand, it is possible that themed LEGO sets will arrive based on the most famous elements of the Epic Games game, such as the Battle Bus, the aforementioned Blade and who knows what else.

To make the news even more concrete is the tweet from the Fortnite producer, Matt Arguetawho released an Epic Games Christmas ornament featuring a LEGO minifigure (in the bottom left corner).

The announcement relating to this collaboration between the two brands should arrive before Christmas, and it is also possible that Epic Games has decided to exploit the stage of The Games Awards to show the upcoming LEGO Fortnite-themed news to as wide an audience as possible.

In the meantime, all we have to do is refresh this page compulsively in the hope that LEGO will publish something about it.
