It’s about a true union between over 50 companies and organizations, which will have the aim of overcoming the challenges posed by artificial intelligence. The cornerstones of this initiative are safety and security. Other objectives, however, concern the ability to create technological tools based on open source in order to share knowledge, applications and much more. Furthermore, as mentioned above, the safe and responsible use of AI-based systems will be promoted, ranging from climate to education to other sectors.
There are many companies and organizations that have decided to join Meta and IBM, including CERN, Dell Technologies, Intel and Cornell University: these are companies that have been working on artificial intelligence for some time. All these companies, therefore, will make their knowledge available in this area in such a way as to guarantee innovation that is accessible to all and which above all manages to represent an opportunity for users.
