Microsoft thinks about a chatbot therapist with artificial intelligence to offer you emotional care

Microsoft has just registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, a very interesting patent on a chatbot AI based therapist for therapeutic medical treatment.

To do this, this chatbot would first build a user profile based on emotional signals obtained from images and generate a memory record based on them for the profile.

This chatbot would have a conversation window, a processing module and a response database.

It would also have modules to answer questions, analyze emotions, create memories and store information about the user themselves.

Besides, the chatbot could remember and mention conversations it has previously had with the patient. It could provide you with recommendations of all kinds, not only on medications, but also on diet related to health and other issues related to the patient themselves.

“Artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot is becoming increasingly popular and is being applied in an increasing number of scenarios. The chatbot is designed to simulate human conversation and can chat with users using text, voice, images, etc.,” Microsoft says in this patent.

It would be able to perform psychological tests on users, either by asking questions directly or by monitoring their response and using that information to provide feedback.

In addition, in this process it would also perform psychological tests that can be activated depending on the user’s state and other conditions and factors.

But it is just a patent, and this does not mean that the idea will come to fruition into something tangible.
