MSI Prestige AI are the laptops to make the most of the potential of AI

A few hours after the presentation of the new processors Intel Core Ultra, MSI has launched its new laptops Prestige AI 16 and 13 inches, high-end devices designed to make the most of the potential of artificial intelligence.

Elegant, very powerfulequipped with certification Intel Evo and surprisingly light, the new laptops are also equipped with a DALL-E style image generator: let’s find out.

The new Prestige AIs offer the new Intel Core Ultra CPU based Intel 4 and should offer around 10% performance improvement over Raptor Lake-H.

The processors are equipped with the new NPU, a dedicated AI accelerator integrated into the processor, which ensures a much more efficient CPU/GPU computing experience and also improves performance on an energetic level. To further increase the performance of AI efforts, Intel has collaborated on the optimization of more than 100 AI-ready applications.

On the GPU front, the new ones MSI Prestige 16 AI they use the new one Arc iGPU, while the 99.9 Whrs battery is able to ensure long autonomy and maximum productivity even when you are on the move. In the box you will find a 100W power supply.

There are two options screen: a standard 2560 x 1600 pixel or a 3840 x 2400 pixel OLED panel, while the RAM, which is soldered, reaches 16GB or 32GB.

On board we find proximity sensors, 3D noise reduction cameras and a spatial array microphone, some of which can be used for AI meetingbut also for existing features such as detecting when someone walks away.

MSI also offers a number of AI programsincluding AI noise cancellation software and the MSI AI engine, which promises to detect what you’re doing on the device (e.g., gaming, work, meetings, streaming shows) and adjust the system settings consequentially.

Prices and availability

Prices were not disclosed, but in the United States it starts from $1,399. As regards availability, they will arrive in Italy from January 2024.

MSI Prestige 13 AI it is the smallest model in the series, and is expected to be available in some markets in two screen options, one OLED and one LCD.

The laptop is characterized by a weight of just 990 gramsbut the 75 Whr battery is 50% higher than that of laptops in the same category

Prices were not disclosed, but in the United States it starts from $1,049.
