Over the years we have seen Google engage particularly in the home automation sector, with its Nest brand which offers devices to make the home increasingly smarter.
Among the most interesting products of Google’s home automation flagship we find the Nest Camsmart security cameras, and Nest Doorbell, the smart doorbell. Precisely these devices have just received a new update software.
The update for Nest Cam introduces the version 1.69which includes the fix to the blurry footage problem during the hours nocturnal, i.e. when the ambient brightness is very low. This problem was reported a few weeks ago, when a user even complained about it not being able to use the footage in which his car was broken into due to the low quality of the video.
The update that fixes blurry night vision is in the distribution phase also for Nest Doorbell, which suffered from the same problem.
The models that are receiving the update are all Battery-powered Nest Cam, Battery-powered Nest Doorbell And Nest 2nd Generation Wired Doorbell.
Google reported that the update starts rolling out today and should reach everyone globally within the next few weeks.
