Official Ayaneo Slide: the portable console with a keyboard full of nostalgia

After the launch of Ayaneo Pocket Air, which we had the pleasure of test by handthe Chinese company launches another portable console, but this time it mixes the cards on the table: it chooses the operating system Windows and marries a somewhat atypical design, with a sliding screen that “hides” a keyboard equipped with complete layout. In short, the inspiration is clear: that of the legendary cell phones with a physical keyboard!

As anticipated, Ayaneo Slide is a portable console whose peculiarity lies in its 6” sliding screen, the inclination of which can be adjusted from 10° to 30°.

The resolution of the IPS panel is 1,920 x 1,080, with a screen that reveals, when moved, a full backlit keyboardwhose brightness can be customized by the user.

The design, Ayaneo assures, has been crafted to deliver unrivaled ergonomics among portable consoles, different from anything tried so far, thanks to the right mix of compactness and grip. In addition to an advanced cooling system, the console also boasts a set of buttons with an elastic and consistent feel, also driven by the Hall effect on the triggers and analogue, without dead zones.

Another peculiarity lies in the installed processor, i.e Ryzen 7 7840Uknown to most for being a highly energy efficient AMD chip, capable of still providing excellent performance.

Ayaneo Slide will initially launch exclusively on Indigogo with a starting price of €640 (at the dollar exchange rate) in the from version 16+512GB and shipments will depart from December 2023.
