The possibility of sharing music during a video call on WhatsApp is getting closer and closer

WhatsApp engineers do not stop working on new features for the instant messaging application, both for the desktop version and for the version for Android and iOS devices.

And a few weeks ago, it was revealed that they were working on a very interesting option that would allow us to share musical audio during a video call on WhatsAppa feature that seems to be getting closer.

It would allow users to collectively listen to videos and music when sharing their screen, making the conversation much richer and more immersive.

Now thanks to the latest beta version available for selected users, it can be seen that this feature is reaching more and more customers.

As you can see in the screenshot shared by Wabetainfo, when someone on the call shares their screen, the audio plays on their device and with other people on the call.

It not only works on group calls but also on one-on-one calls. On the other hand, it is not only limited to the business version of the application, but to any other version of WhatsApp.

The good thing is that users on the call can also watch videos together, experiencing that shared audio during the video call.

This would allow participants to synchronize their video streaming experiences with a kind of virtual session to watch movies or share content.

It is reaching more and more beta testers, so it is expected that throughout 2024 it will be available to everyone in a stable version.
