The OnePlus 12R specifications emerge: what a battery!

If of OnePlus 12 practically everything is known, little had been leaked so far about the other phone that the company of the former flagship killer now seems certain to launch on January 4th in China and on January 23 globally, OnePlus 12R (do you know how to upgrade a brand phone?).

Of the device, the subject of some rumor in recent months, it was known that he would mount a SoC Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, would have had up to 16 GB of RAM it’s a camera main 50 megapixel Sony IMX890. Now the leaker Max Jambor decided to gather all the information out there along with a teaser image and posted it on X.

As we can see from the post, the phone will be equipped with a screen from 6.78 inches OLED ProXDR up to 120 Hz and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, against 6.82 inches of panel OnePlus 12.

As for the other features, the SnapDragon 8 Gen 2 is confirmed, 8 or 16 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of storage space (the latter of the UFS 4.0 type while the former is of the UFS 3.1 type) and the main camera from 50 megapixels.

The surprise is the drums, which according to Jambor will be from 5,500 mAh100 mAh more than that hypothesized for OnePlus 12, always with SUPERVOOC charging at 100W.

Jambor says the phone will come in two colors: grey And blue.

Speaking of images, that of cover was provided by CConceptCreator on X, while the renderings come from a preview last July by OnLeakswhich reveal a similar design to the OnePlus 12 but with a smaller camera block (and without the textures which characterize the back cover).

As we have learned in recent days and anticipated at the beginning, OnePlus 12R will be launched alongside its bigger brother on January 4 in China, while for the global market we will have to wait until January 23.
