The eternal Fiat Panda could arrive in an all-electric guise

Fiat is a key player in the entire automotive market, and has been for many decades now. Like many other car manufacturers, too Fiat has invested in the electric segment, and does not intend to stop.

There are already several fully electric car models produced by Fiat, including for our market. But there could be further news on the horizon featuring one of the most iconic models of the Turin house. Let’s talk about Fiat Panda.

Over the last few years the Fiat Panda has been renewed several times, also in terms of motorization. We saw the version arrive, with excellent public reception hybrid. Once the production of this model was shelved, apparently due to supply problems.

Currently we still find a few units of the hybrid Panda on the market, although a model could arrive next year all new and all electric.

This is what has just been leaked online and picked up by Self-evolution. These details come from the president of Serbia Aleksandar Vucicwho would have confirmed that Stellantis will start production of the fully electric Fiat Panda in his country, using the plant located in Kragujevac.

Beyond the social implications for workers present in Italy, given that the Panda is currently produced in the Pomigliano d’Arco plant in the province of Naples, the news it would have its echo given that a fully electric Panda had never been seen. And the suggestion of seeing a futuristic design for the new model cannot be ruled out a priori.

The image you find on the cover in fact shows the Centoventi concept which was presented, precisely as an electric car, by Fiat in 2019. According to current rumors, the debut of the first electric Panda should take place in next summer 2024. We will update you again as soon as we know more.
