The new Redmi Buds 5 Pro TWS headphones are official: ANC and low cost are the strong points

Xiaomi presented the new earphones today Redmi Buds 5 Pro, featuring a charging case with an elegant and circular design. The earphones, on the other hand, feature an a double ceramic coaxial unit, which combines a 10mm piezoelectric ceramic tweeter and an 11mm titanium-plated dynamic subwoofer. Going into details, the headphones also received audio certifications from three professional platforms. These are Zhenpin Master Tape and Zhenpin Space Audio by QQ Music, NetEase Cloud Sound by NetEase Cloud Music and Viper Atmos by Kugou Music.

Moving on to the technical features, Redmi Buds 5 Pro boast a dual-engine acoustics, deep space noise reduction and a new acoustic structure with a powerful algorithm: all this should guarantee good overall sound quality as well as excellent noise reduction capacity. Furthermore, the headphones reach a maximum noise reduction depth of 52 dB, they support AI adaptive tuning and offer a low latency of 49 ms, along with a 4 kHz noise reduction frequency band and 9 m/s wind noise resistance for calls.

Autonomy side, a quick charge of just 5 minutes will allow 2 hours of continuous music playback. In particular, each earphone has an autonomy of 10 hours, for example 38 hours in total. Finally, a special is also available gaming version of the Redmi Buds 5 Pro. This variant features a professional wireless flash connector with Type-C interface, multi-device compatibility, an independent 2.4 GHz transmission link with ultra-low latency of 20 ms and a CD-level LHDC Lossless audio codec for Improved gaming experience, along with dual-engine noise reduction.

Redmi Buds 5 Pro are priced at 399 yuan (approx 50 euros) and are available in three colors: black, white and blue; the Redmi Buds 5 Pro Gaming edition, on the other hand, is sold for 499 yuan (approx 65 euros). They will be put on sale in China starting December 5th.
