TIM retires Doctor Tim, the app that provided assistance: here are the alternatives

From now, December 11thTIM has informed its customers of the upcoming closure of the app Doctor TIM, which will therefore be removed from both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. The date on which this removal will take place will be that of Friday 15 DecemberWhile from January 24th the application will permanently stop working.

However, TIM has specified that the Doctor Tim it may continue to be managed through other platforms, such as the 187 Customer Service or the operator’s official website. As regards the service, we remind you that it consisted of providing paid technical assistance to TIM fixed network users, both consumer and business. In this sense, for consumer users the service was known as Doctor Tim Home, while for business users it was called SoS PC Business.

Service was supplied in “intervention” mode and consisted of a specialized technician who remotely accessed the menus and functions of the user’s PC: in this way, an attempt was made to resolve the problem with the device.

Alternatively, you could also proceed via a simple video call. In any case, the operator has decided to close the Doctor TIM app imminently: users in difficulty, as previously mentioned, will be able to take advantage of the 187 Customer Service and the TIM website.
