Even though we are almost there 2024there are still some users who prefer the paper invoice compared to the digital one. In this sense, however, some less than positive news is arriving from TIM: the increase in cost to send the bill in paper format.
In particular, from 1 January 2024the monthly cost will increase up to 4.95 euros. The new increase, which follows the one recorded in August 2022was motivated “for economic needs also due to the need to reduce the environmental impact of its commercial services in the changed market context”. Therefore, the change in this price responds to the need for “increase the convenience, including economic convenience for the customer, of switching to the digital copy of the TIM invoice, thus enabling a virtuous circle of reduction in the use of paper, energy consumption and, ultimately, CO2 production”.
In any case, TIM reminded that the customer, at all times, you will be able to do without the paper format using the free “Online Account” service, which can be activated by calling Customer Service 187 (through the MyTIM reserved area or from the operator’s official app).
In particular, to carry out this operation simply select the line concerned, press on “Line-Manage” and then on “Receive Invoice”. Next, you need to disable the “Mail” option (it is useful to verify your email address).
