Very Mobile adapts to the latest European legislation: gigabytes in roaming increase, all the details

News from Very Mobile. The operator, in fact, has decided to adapt to the new conditions foreseen for Roaming in the European Union, over a month in advance. In particular, from January 1, 2024due to the reduction in wholesale roaming prices (from €1.80 to €1.55), the formula to calculate the maximum amount of data traffic that can be used in Europe will be Volume of GB = [importo della propria spesa mensile (IVA esclusa) / 1,55] x 2.

In a nutshell, after this adjustment, the Very Mobile offers will provide the following thresholds:

• 5.3 Gigabytes per month for tariff offers at 4.99 euros per month (with the exception of those with 1 Gigabyte which include all data traffic also in EU Roaming);
• 6.4 Gigabytes per month for tariff offers at 5.99 euros per month;
• 7.4 Gigabytes per month for tariff offers at 6.99 euros per month;
• 8.5 Gigabytes per month for tariff offers at 7.99 euros per month;
• 10.6 GB per month for tariff offers at 9.99 euros per month;
• 11.7 Gigabytes per month for tariff offers at 10.99 euros per month;
• 13.8 Gigabytes per month for tariff offers at 12.99 euros per month;
• 14.8 Gigabytes per month for tariff offers at 13.99 euros per month.

As regards the data traffic available in Italy, however, there is no change, as are the minutes and SMS (which can always be used under the same national conditions).

Finally, moving on to extra-threshold cost that is applied in Europe, the operator’s official page has not yet been updated: in fact, the previous value of is still indicated 0.219 euro cents per MB.
