Vodafone presents Red Max Under 18: details on the only offer that can be activated by minors

News from Vodafone. In particular, the mobile network offer Vodafone Red Max Under 16, since yesterday November 20, changed its name to Vodafone Red Max Under 18: therefore, it will be activated by all new minor customers. In this regard, this is the only offer that can be subscribed to by users who have not yet reached the age of majority. Also, promotion it can only be activated in stores.

Going into the details of the news, Red Max Under 18 offers unlimited minutes to all landline and mobile numbers (also in the European Union), Unlimited SMS and 100 GB of data traffic up to 5G. Among other things, the Rete Sicura service is also included (only for the Parental Control functionality), all at the monthly price of 9.99 euros. On Parental Control, AGCOMwith resolution 9/23/CONS, established that telephone operators they must include Parental Control services free of charge in order to filter content that is not appropriate for children (the obligation applies to offers dedicated to minors, while for the rest of the promotions the so-called SCPs must be available and can be activated).

To activate Parental Control, users do not have to do anything. As soon as the Red Max Under 18 offer is activated, the customer will receive a text message confirming the activation of Rete Sicura. Subsequently, within a short time, Parental Control will be automatically activated. Finally, the parent/guardian of the minor will receive an OTP code via SMS: using this code it will be possible to change the settings in the App.
