The implementation of FTTR Fiber by Movistar does not require works at home. A very thin and invisible fiber optic cable is used, which is integrated without altering the aesthetics of the space, connecting several secondary WiFi access points using a transparent and flexible fiber optic cable.

The price of Movistar’s FTTR fiber service is an additional monthly fee independent of the contracted package of 9.90 euros, plus a registration fee of 120 euros. This initial cost includes the WiFi 6 Router and the FTTR Main Kit, necessary for installing fiber in the home.

Initially, the FTTR Fiber service is available for current miMovistar or FusiĆ³n customers in Madrid and Barcelona from December 4. Although Movistar has plans to expand this service to other regions in the coming months.

The internet speed promised with lMovistar’s fiber FTTR technology is up to 1 Gbpsensuring complete coverage throughout the house and minimal latency.
