ZTE has launched the cheapest foldable in Japan: here is Libero Flip

Foldable smartphones have a rather high selling price, however things could soon change. In this sense, in Japan, the new ZTE Libero Flip was launched at just $420 (even at $265 in pre-orders). This is a very competitive price, especially considering the cost, for example, of the latest samsung Galaxy Z Flip, which ZTE’s foldable is inspired by.

Going into details, ZTE Libero Flip is equipped with a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, supported by 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage space, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. The foldable display is OLED, with a 6.9″ diagonal, while the battery has a capacity of 4,310 mAh (support 33W fast charging). The second 1.43″ display, however, has a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels and can be used mainly for widgets and as a front camera. Moving on to the photographic sector, the main sensor is 50 MPflanked by one with a depth of 2 MP.

The front sensor, however, has a resolution of 16 MP.

Therefore, ZTE has launched the cheapest foldable, at least until now, ahead of all the other companies. In this sense, the Samsung leaker Revegnusin November, said the company was thinking about a mid-range device costing 400/500 dollars. Who knows if this indiscretion will prove to be true.
