One of the features of Android is its extreme possibility of customization, exploited by phone manufacturers to produce recognizable interfaces such as One UI, MIUI (actually now HyperOS) or ColorOS.
Android Autohowever, is the same for everyone, regardless of the manufacturer or the version of the robot installed, but this could change soon, at least if what we are witnessing is not a bug.
A Reddit user actually noticed that after connecting his samsung Galaxy S10e to the vehicle, the Android Auto icons were no longer the canonical ones, but followed those of the One UI (below, while at the bottom of the article, for reference, you will find the stock Android Auto icons).

In fact, the Korean manufacturer customizes various aspects of the interface, including those icons, which present a I wait it’s a form different, squared with rounded corners.
It’s currently unclear what’s going on, but it appears to be unrelated to the latest one version of Android Auto (currently up to beta v11).
Other users confirmed the news, specifying however that by changing the theme of apps on your phone (for example form or third-party packages) does not have an effect on Android Autowhich maintains those predefined of system.
Of course it could very well be a bugs, but if it were not so it would be a step Interesting towards greater customization of the vehicle interface. Some time ago Google had experimented with the possibility of importing it background of the phone on Android Auto, and this novelty of the icons seems to fit into the same type of functionality.
