The Copilot app for Android is real: here is the new rival of ChatGPT

In total silence, Microsoft launched a Copilot app for Android. The software is available at Google Play Store and allows access to Microsoft’s chatbot avoiding the installation of the mobile app Bing.

Going into the details of the news, the app is similar to ChatGPT, starting from the chatbot functionality, that of generating images via FROM-E 3 as well as the one that allows you to draft text for emails/documents. By the way, it also includes free access to OpenAI’s latest GPT-4 module. This launch comes one month after Microsoft rebranded Bing Chat to Copilot. As for an iOS version of the app, there would be no sign of an imminent launch. Therefore, iPhone or iPad users will still need to use the Bing app to access existing Copilot features.

While waiting for further news, a few days ago Microsoft announced further news regarding Copilot. In fact, the company has formalized a collaboration with the US company Sound for the creation of a Copilot plugin that will allow the writing of musical pieces.

It will be possible to create a song of any genre: simply enter a request via text, such as “create a rock song about love”.
