Cecotec makes a mess and explodes the electric bicycle sector: it sells three models at a bargain price
If there is a Spanish brand that has a presence in many sectors, it is the Valencian Cecotec, which sells practically everything, from mattresses and frying pans to, now, electric bicycles. Their catalog has the price as a common denominator, which is always lower than the competition.
Their new electric bikes are cheap if we compare them with other similar modelsand to give a clear example, their mountain ebike costs 629 euros and reaches 50 km of autonomy, which is not bad at all.
The other two models are an urban touring bicycle for 699 euros and a folding one for 529 euros, so practically all use cases are covered, although obviously the three bicycles are aimed at the entry-level range.
The mountain model is for sale at both Cecotec and Amazon, but the other two for now are exclusive to the official store, which offers free shipping in just 2-3 days to anywhere in Spain.
It’s a good bargain if you usually get around the city on foot or by conventional bike., or on an electric scooter. This last form of mobility has been more or less restricted in many cities by city councils and even by the DGT itself, which has recently approved new regulations in this regard.
Depending on how you are going to use it, one or the other is better for you. If you have little space at home and a lot of stairs to climb, the folding one is undoubtedly the best option, but if you are interested in having a carrier to carry your backpack or backpack, the walking one is also a good alternative.
