Microsoft “annoys” Windows 10 users to upgrade to Windows 11 right now
Windows 10 is still the operating system most used by users in the Windows ecosystem, and Microsoft seems to want to accelerate the acceptance of Windows 11 with an aggressive campaign that will be launched starting next week.
As they have pointed out from Windows Latest, Microsoft has started showing full screen pop-ups after the cumulative update of Windows 10 which the insiders are already testing and which will reach everyone next week.
In fact, you’ll have to ignore up to four slides if you want to continue with Windows 10.
What is surprising about this Microsoft strategy is that it steals the operating system screen to offer up to four slides, trying to convince the user to download and install Windows 11.
On the first slide, Microsoft informs that the computer is eligible to switch, completely free of charge, to the new Windows 11 operating system.
On the second slide, the new features of Windows 11 begin to be praised to convince the user.
The third slide continues along the same lines, pointing out to the user that if they switch to Windows 11 it will have a better appearance, more security and speed.
Finally, on the fourth screen, they point out that even if the user remains on Windows 10, it reminds them that they can upgrade to Windows 11 for free and at any time.
This is an old trick that Microsoft already performed a couple of years ago, just with the launch of Windows 11, and that the user community did not like at all.
Perhaps Microsoft is worried that Windows 11, which has been on the market for more than two years, count on a participation still very far from Windows 10.
Either way, get ready to suffer through all these slides next week when you upgrade your Windows 10 laptop.
