At CES XGIMI says goodbye to Android TV and presents a “classic” projector and an innovative 3-in-1

At CES 2024 in Las Vegas XGIMI presented the innovations for 2024: two new projectors, new technologies and important partnerships. The turning point was certainly theabandonment of Android TV in favor of Google TV, which will allow you to use Netflix from day one.

The agreements not only affect Google, but also MediaTekwhich will provide the chips, IMAX And DTSwho will take care of bringing images and audio to a higher level thanks to IMAX Enhanced certification.

All this led to the creation of the two projectors, the Horizon Max el’Aladdinwhich pose themselves as two very different solutions within the domestic environment, but with thecommon goal to provide a high-end cinematic experience.

XGIMI Aladdin

The XGIMI Aladdin is a 3-in-1 projector because, in addition to its nature, it is also a lamp and a speaker: in fact, it was created to replace the normal chandelier. It was born as the first XGIMI product connected to the smart home and its mission is to eliminate the bulk of traditional projectors by combining it with a minimal design.

Winner of the CES 2024 Innovation Award, it is a projector with many features and characterized by a Harman Kardon speaker: In addition to its function, it can show dynamic wallpapers, interactive children’s books and play soothing music for sleep.

His launch is scheduled for June 2024 in Japan, but we don’t know when it will arrive in Italy and at what price.

XGIMI Horizon Max

The XGIMI Horizon Max is the projector that packs a punch the best of the company: It is the first long-throw projector in the world to be certified IMAX Enhancedhas the Dual Light 2.0 updated, i.e. it integrates a triple laser to broaden the color range and a phosphoric light to neutralize any imperfections of the laser, and of the ISA 5.0 (Intelligent Screen Adaptation).

ISA 5.0 is a technology that through a automated gimbal allows the projector to take the best position relative to the wall and of memorize the settings for different walls, so you don’t have to adjust it every time you use it in a different room.

L’arrival on the market is scheduled for end of 2024but we don’t know precisely when and at what price.
